Payment can be accepted online by credit card or ClickandBuy, and vouchers are available from an international network of stockists. There will be a review of the costs of viewing individual records to bring them into line with other datasets. The lowest price for a findmypast.com unit is normally 9 pence compared to 6 pence for a checked index record on FamilyHistoryOnline.
The contributing family history society or original owner of the data retains copyright – this transfer is just a distribution agreement for which they would be granting online rights for internet access only
The data owner may distribute it in any way it chooses, online, offline, in CDs or booklets. This does not affect any arrangements for data that findmypast.com will be publishing.
Any outstanding FamilyHistoryOnline vouchers that you have in stock will be exchanged for findmypast vouchers of the same value
