How do I sign out?

Click on 'sign out', in blue at the top of the page.

If you have set your preferences to 'remember my password', you will automatically be signed in to the site next time you click on 'sign in'.

If you do not want to be signed in automatically, click on 'my profile' whilst you are signed in to the site.

Your account details will be displayed. Scroll down to the section called 'preferences. Untick the box 'Remember my password'. Click on 'submit' at the bottom of the page.

The 'my profile' screen will refresh and say 'your account has been updated'.

You can alter your preferences at any time.

How do I change my sign in preferences? 

Sign in to the site and click on ‘my profile’.

Your account details will be displayed. Scroll down to the section called 'preferences'.

There is one option to choose from. Tick the box 'Remember my password'.

How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address by going into the 'my profile' section of the site. Simply change the details and press the submit button.

How do I delete my account?

If you wish to delete your findmypast.com account please contact our Customer Support team either by email: info@findmypast.com or phone: +44 (0)20 7549 0990.

Password support is available by email 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Outside of office hours please email info@findmypast.com with any queries.

We endeavour to answer all queries, by email, within 2 working days.
